NORMAN L. KLINE

Norman L. Kline Norman L. Kline died Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at the Pine Run Retirement Community in Doylestown. He was 87. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Freda Bazer Kline. Norman had lived in the Pine Run Community for the last three years. He had previously lived in Tunkhannock, Pa., and formerly was a longtime resident of Southampton. Mr. Kline was a retired employee of Western Electric. He was a part-time officer in the Upper Southampton Police Department for over 20 years. In the 1960s, he was the Upper Southampton Civil Defense Director. Norman was Navy Reserve veteran. He was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, a life member of the NRA, and a life member of the Bucks County Police Association. Norman enjoyed hunting and spending time in the outdoors near his home in Tunkhannock. Norman was the beloved husband of Marilyn V. Yeager Kline for 55 years before her death in 2006. He was the devoted father of Kenneth W. Kline (Jacqueline) of Southampton, Cheryl Kline of Chalfont, and Denise Kline of Doylestown. He was the loving grandfather of Kevin Kline, Scott Kline, Adam Hinde, and Sarah Kline. He was the great-grandfather of Micaela Kline, Gianna Kline, and Carolyn Kline. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Norman's interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PARVEE Foundation of Pine Run, 777 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.
