Richard K. Baker Sr.

Sunday, February 17th, 1946 - Friday, March 12th, 2021

Richard K. Baker, Sr. of Pennsauken, NJ passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was 75 years old. Born in Chester, PA, Rich was a resident of Pennsauken for the last 5 years and was formerly of Hulmeville, PA. He was a Steamfitter with Local#420 for many years. Rich was a car enthusiast, especially when it came to dragsters. He enjoyed working on cars and taking trips to Cecil County Dragway, MD. Rich also enjoyed fishing, camping and was an avid sports fan. He was a very active community member in Hulmeville, coaching football and baseball in his youth. Rich was also a former member of the Hulmeville Fire Company. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Jamie A. (Thompson). Rich will also be deeply missed by his children, siblings, grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Services and interment will be held at a later date. www.tomlinsonfh.com

My deepest sympathy goes out to Rich's family and friends. Rich is remembered fondly from our school days together. Remember him as a very nice person. It is always a very sad day when we lose another from our class of 1964.

Richard B. Miller (1964)

So sad to lose yet another classmate.  Although I lost touch with Rich when I moved away in 1962, he and I spent time together as young kids, riding bikes in Terry's Trailer Park with our friends.  Later, he and I were on the wrestling teams in 9th and 10th grades where we competed in the same weight class.  Thinking back, it doesn't seem like it could possibly be that long ago.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
