Mike, Rest Easy, my friend...until we can laugh once again, together, as we did so often in the halls of BHS.  Will remember you always.

Mike's passing leaves more sadness for the end of 2020. Knew him from school, and he was a great guy. Mike was very charming, and a gentleman. A few years ago, Mike and I did a little exchange of banter on The Message Forum about the school's Alma Mater. He made the comment that maybe we should update the school song to something more uplifting. I thought it was funny that he even mentioned the song, as many had made that same comment through the years. I told Mike that my uncle had entered a contest to choose the school's Alma Mater, and it was his song that was chosen. My uncle was a student who graduated from Bensalem in 1930 - a much different time period. I agreed with Mike. Mike immediately apologized to me. That is just the type of person Mike was. He was considerate of others. He told me that he was just trying to get a conversation going on The Forum. We had a little laugh about the song after our conversations. I suggested it be changed to the Beach Boys' "Be True to Your School" - but that would be our time period of the 60s, and today's students might not care for that song. Mike will be another classmate who will be sorely missed from our tightly-knit 1964 graduating class. My condolences to Mike's family and friends. Mike will be remembered as a very nice person. I am glad to have known him.

Prayers going out for Mike and his family. I met Mike when we started 1st grade together at Trevose Elememtary School. Turned out Mike/Michael was a popular name that year. There were 7 Michael's in the class and our teachers name was Mrs. MiMichael. Talking about confusing when 'Mike' was called upon during class.

We played Little League and Babe Ruth League baseball together. Mike was always so friendly and upbeat. I don't remember him being 'not friendly' with anyone. I remember being envious in 1st grade because he wore dungarees to school. (remember dungarees before they became jeans). I thried leaving her house one morning in dungarees and my mother marched me right back to my room to put proper clothes on for going to school.

We lost touch after high school, but it's still so sad to hear of his passing. God Bless, Mike.
