In Memory

Sandra L. Junghanns (Saladino) - Class Of 1965

Sandra L. Junghanns (Saladino)

Sandra L. Saladino of Titusville, N.J. passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Capital Health Regional Hospital, Trenton, N.J. She was 72.

Born in Bensalem, Pa., she had resided in Titusville for many years. She graduated from Bensalem High School in 1965 and then from Helene Fuld School of Nursing. Sandi worked as an Emergency Room Nurse for Helene Fuld Hospital.

Daughter of the late William and Henrietta Junghanns, wife of the late Dr. Joseph Saladino, mother of the late Robert O'Neil, and step-grandmother of the late Lucy Saladino, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Jaimie O'Neil of Titusville, her step children, Chris Saladino, Julie England and Claudia Saladino, grandchildren, Patrick and Matthew O'Neil, as well as her step-grandchildren, Jack, Wyatt, Abigail, Olivia and Lila.

Sandi was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Sandi and her husband Joseph enjoyed many wonderful years together working, traveling, antiquing, and later in life she devoted herself to caring for her husband. Once she lost her beloved husband, she enjoyed spending more time with her grandchildren going out for breakfast, beach trips, and lots of baseball and football games.

She will be remembered fondly by her loved ones and we are all grateful to have had such a devoted woman in our lives.

Services were held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Team Lucy Saladino, Virginia Chapter, 7202 Glen Forest Dr., Richmond, VA 23233 (www.cff.org, Team Lucy Saladino).

Condolences are welcome at the funeral home's web site below.
