Thomas P. Stuber - Class Of 1965

Thomas P. Stuber

Thomas P. 'Tom' Stuber of Media, Pa., formerly of Kissimmee, Fla. and Levittown, died surrounded by his loving family Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014. He was 67.

Tom was a 1965 graduate of Bensalem High School and received an Associate Degree in Business Administration. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Tom worked with Gatorade, as an operations manager, until his retirement in 2006. Previously he worked with Whitman's chocolates.

Tom was a member of First United Methodist Church, Media, Pa. He also was a member of the American Legion.

Tom was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. He was a nature lover, a deep thinker, an advocate for fairness and all good things. He especially loved spending time with his family, and teaching his grandchildren about nature.

Son of the late Paul and Mamie Weaver Stuber; brother of the late Donald J. Stuber, he is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy C. (Farrell) Stuber; daughters, Colleen Pompetti (Jamie) and Gretchen Scheidly (Brian); grandchildren, Trey, Annalynn, and Lylah Pompetti and Donovan Scheidly.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rt. #352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Township, Media, Pa. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Spinnerstown, Pa.

Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Thomas Stuber to a charity of the donor's choice.
