I haven't seen John since high school, but every year on my birthday for the last several years he would wish me a happy birthday. I will always remember him as such a good guy...always friendly. I knew Jack since he moved on to my street, just 3 doors down, and his mother had passed away early in his life. He was a classmate of my brother Walt (66) and spent a lot of time with him in the neighborhood. He was always friendly and fun, even visiting my parents after the service. He married the girl across the street and settled down the street from his boyhood home. He led a great battle against the cancer he got from serving our country. I will miss him as we had been keeping in touch thru this web site.
