JOHN J. SABOLCIK

John J. Sabolcik John J. "J.J." Sabolcik Jr. of Coopersburg, formerly of Bensalem, died Thursday, Dec. 28 in his home. He was 68. He was the husband of Laurette (South) Sabolcik. Born in Bristol Township, he was the son of the late John J. Sr., and Mary (Frizth) Sabolcik. He was a damage appraiser for insurance claims for many years before retiring. He was a former member of St. Ephrem's Catholic Church, Bensalem and a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Quakertown, and the Cardinal Stritch Council, K of C. He was an active member for over 30 years with Station 44, Newport Fire Co., Bensalem, where he was a past president and former fire captain. Surviving with his wife are a son, J. David "Dave", wife, Connie, of Bensalem; grandchildren Rachel, Melissa, and Kage; and great-grandson, Jace. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m., Friday, Jan. 5, in St. Ephrem's Catholic Church, Bensalem, with a calling hour preceding from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Interment will be held in Resurrection Cemetery.
