Obituary

Lawrence R. “Larry” Carsillo age 75 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at Yardley Rehabilitation Center. 

Born in Philadelphia he had been a longtime resident of Trevose. Larry was a graduate of Bensalem High School and a devout Catholic. He was employed as a welder at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and retired after many years of service. Larry loved riding motorcycles and driving classic cars. He also enjoyed fishing and swimming in his swimming pool, as well as listening to music. His favorite song being “Volare” by Domenico Modugno. He was an amateur craftsman building his own Grandfather clock and painting the famous Last Supper. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent and Helen Carsillo; his wife Mary (nee Dougherty); his daughter Helen Carsillo; his siblings Vincent “Bud” Carsillo, sister Margaret “Peggy” Sedgwick, Robert Carsillo (Deborah) and Louise Behe (Rick). Left behind to cherish his memory are his children Lawrence R. Carsillo Jr. and Melissa Bowman; along with his grandson Lawrence “LJ” Carsillo III; He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends including, Patricia Beck and Nicholas Suarez.  

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, Aril 24, 2024 at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA 19047 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 am. His interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
