Lois E. Hinde (Kumas)

September 26, 1953 - July 21, 2017

Lois Kumas, 63 of Levittown, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Aria Bucks Hospital in Langhorne Pennsylvania. She was born September 26, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Arthur Hinde and Doris Hinde (Angstadt).

Lois was a beloved member of the Bucks County Folk Song Society where she loved singing and playing along with her collection of percussion instruments. As an avid crafter, she had a passion for jewelry making and stained glass. She enjoyed spending time at the Philadelphia Zoo, Peddler's Village, the Middletown Grange Fair and the Wayne County Fair while camping in Promise Land, PA. Lois also never missed and opportunity to delight local trick or treaters with her elaborate Halloween display. 

Lois will be missed by her former coworkers at Staples in Oxford Valley, PA.

She is survived by her children and spouses Jennifer Mothes (Mark Carnahan), Bristol Borough, PA, Lisa Mothes-Fariss (Christopher Fariss), Doylestown, PA, granddaughter Madelyn Fariss, 4 siblings, Raymond (Beth) Hinde, Rice, VA, David Hinde, Levittown, PA, Roberta Hinde, Pittsburgh, PA, and Paul (Sandy) Hinde, Leadington, MO, close personal friend T. Douglas White, Levittown, PA, and her step children of the Kumas Family. 

Service is to be held on Saturday July 29, 2017 at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel Inc. on the grounds of Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. Calling Hour is from 9:15-10:00 am. Service will begin at 10:00-11:15 am followed by interment from 11:30-12:00 pm. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ Home in Warminster, PA. 

Lois loved her family and friends dearly, leaving a lasting imprint on our hearts and souls and will be forever missed.

Anna Marie Shastay (Sneeringer) (1971)

Lois was one of the nicest people in our class, and I was very sorry to hear of her passing.  She had a good heart, and she was friendly, loyal, and caring.  My condolences to her family.  May she rest in peace.
