Michael Thomas Stusnick CHARLESTON - Michael Thomas Stusnick, 59, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at home, surrounded by love, as he entered the world of the spirit. He adored his wife Betsy, who feels such gratitude for our life together. His joy for life and laughter were fabulous to be around. Mike was born on February 29, 1960 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Margaret and John Stusnick. He is survived by his cherished wife Betsy Stusnick, his sisters and brothers and their families; Patty and Dennis Simon, John and Nancy Stusnick, Joanne Merna, and Mark and Liz Stusnick. Betsy's family also held a special place in his heart; her mother and husband Susan and B. Closson, sisters and brothers-in-law Sarah and Barry O'Donaghue and Martha and Vin Winter. His funeral service will be on Thursday, March 21 at 2 pm at Grace Church Cathedral, 98 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC. We will share memories of him at a reception following in the church hall. Bring your brightness to the service as he always chose the most lively apparel. He wanted his ashes spread on golf courses throughout the world, and that request will be happily fulfilled. Mike so loved golf, musical theater, traveling around the world, fixing anything, helping those who had less, and feeding every stray cat in the neighborhood.
