John W. Woods Jr. of Bensalem passed away suddenly Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at his residence. He was 54.

John was born in the Rosebud Indian Reservation, S.D. and was a lifetime resident of Bensalem. He was a very active community member, whether it was helping with the Kiwanis Club or coaching with the Bensalem Ramblers. John enjoyed golfing, listening to Fleetwood Mac, and most of all enjoyed spending time with his children. John worked as a banker for Republic Bank for the last two years and formerly worked for TD Bank for eight years.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 28 years Lisa A. (Mattern). John is also survived by his two loving children, Joshua and Christine Woods, and his sister, Dawn Woods-Scurti.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Sr., and Alva V. (Clark) Woods.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by his service at 11 a.m. Friday at Langhorne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Gillan Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047, Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery.
