John F. Spanky Lafferty

Jack 'Spanky' Lafferty of Bensalem passed away suddenly Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Aria Health Torresdale. He was 50.

Jack was born in Philadelphia and was a lifelong resident of the Nottingham section of Bensalem. Jack worked as a machine mechanic for SPS technology for 18 years.

Jack's greatest passion in life was music and he was the drummer for the band Notthead for over 10 years. He was an avid Philly sports fan; he also loved the water and taking cruises and most of all loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 25 years Deborah D. (Wladyka). He also is survived by his loving mother, Dolores Lafferty; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy A. Gallagher (Francis), Geri W. Price, Cheryl L. Bernhardt (Markus); his brother-in-law, Michael G. Wladyka (Carol); and will also be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Lafferty.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, followed by his service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial in Jack's memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.Tomlinson Funeral Home, Bensalem

So sorry to read about this sending my deepest sympathy to his family. Spanky you truly will be missed by many, Too many classmates gone from this world so sad.R.I.P. my friend..
