So sad, I just heard the news about David, an old school friend....I can't believe he has lost his battle after such a long fight. His tough spirit will live forever in the hearts of all he touched. At least he won't be in pain anymore. Lots of prayers to his loved ones. Sleep with the angels my friend!!!

I remember David.  We had not spoken in many, many years when he walked up to me at one of our high school reunions and said he was sorry.  Sorry for things I didn't even remember him doing.  He spoke a lot with me that night. And of course I 'forgave' him for things he hadn't needed to worry about.  We spent many hours after that talking pming at all hours as he was getting sicker.  He was a great man.  I am so glad he, like others, reached out to me so much later. I welcomed the connection of the friend we probably should have been in all our years of school together.  Grateful. ❤️
