Betty Ann Allen (Brandt)

Betty Ann (Allen) Brandt, a lifelong resident of Bensalem, died Feb. 15, 2019, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 87. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Al; her parents, Fay and Donata Allen; and her brother, Fay Allen Jr. She is survived by her beloved son, Michael Brandt; granddaughter, Christine Montone and her husband, Francis Montone, who she dearly loved; as well as great- grandson, Jack Montone. She is also survived by her two sisters-in-law, best friends Bertha and Marge, and her nieces, Beth Anne and Karen, who were like daughters to her. Also surviving her are her five grandnieces, Annie, Laura, Emily, Hannah, and Leah; great-grandniece, Clara; her lifelong best friend, Mary Jane; her special cousin, Essie; good friend, Josephine; and several other cousins and neighbors. Betty was a life member of The Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. Post #1597, M.O.C #44, and D.A.V. Auxiliary Chapter #85. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at St. Ephrem R. C. Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Rite of committal will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Bryan Fitzgerald (1980)

I am very sad to hear of the passing of Mrs. Brandt. She was like a second mother to me. She was always so kind and cheerful , truly a beautiful person.
