WAYNESVILLE — Jeanette Margaret Hayes, 87, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2019, at her home.

A native of Pennsylvania she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Baldwin; and daughter, Barbara Baldwin.

Jeanette attended St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church. For the past 35 years, Jeanette and Carl were inseparable. Retiring to Haywood County, Jeanette spent much of her time as a caregiver, continuing her gift for patient care into her later years. She was a gifted craftswoman, she enjoyed knitting and painting.

Jeanette is survived by her husband, Carl H. Hayes; daughter, Cindy Baldwin, of Philadelphia; step-daughter, Norah Spencer, of Bristol, Pennsylvania; son, William Baldwin, of Bristol, Pennsylvania; three step-sons, Michael Hayes, of Penndel, Pennsylvania, Robert Hayes, and Thomas Hayes, both of Feastherville, Pennsylvania; brother, Dennis Parr, of Bristol, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and close friend and classmate, Mary Jane Vandegrift.
