While I am sad to hear of Mr. Hanovsky's passing, I have happy recollections of him as a very patient and supportive teacher. I enjoyed being in his class with friends, "doing" art, and having a great time. Mr. Hanovsky facilitated a relaxed atmosphere and encouraged creativity with good humor.

Jack Hanovsky was a colleague and a friend.  He was a gifted artist and a talented teacher.  His years of service to the Bensalem community included not only time in the classroom, but his years advising our yearbook and his mentorship of so many students.  He was a real presence in the halls of BHS and his legacy endures in the works he created and the students he encouraged.  We will always be grateful.     -    Pax semper, "The Banch"
