Georgie W. Ashton
Bensalem Resident
Georgie W. Ashton (nee Walton), age 82, of Bensalem passed away Thursday, December 2, 2004 at her home.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Bensalem for 55 years. Georgie was a graduate of Abington Nursing School and wasa U.S. Army nurse during WWII. She was employed as a school nurse with the Bensalem Township School District in the late 1940s. She was also a Sunday
School teacher at Christ Episcopal Church and a member of the Eastern Star.Georgie was also employed with livengrin, retiring in 1989 after 15 years of service.
Beloved wife of 55 years to Louis V. Ashton Sr. Devoted mother o fLouis V. Ashton Jr. (Betty) of Morrisville, Pa., Charmaine Sunderland (Kenneth)of Bordentown, N.J., Georgie E. Ashton of Bensalem and Alfred W. Ashton (Wilma)of Mardella Springs, Md. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Tracey,Colleen, Valerie, David, William and Louis.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Tomlinson Funeral Home,
2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Vandergrift Cemetery, Bensalem.Bucks County Courier
