Carl C. Delia went home to his Heavenly Father Aug. 11, 2014. He was 62.
He was born in New Jersey and raised in Bensalem. He was a graduate of Bensalem High School.
Carl was in the funeral business for 35 years. Carl was always ready to help others and was a Boy Scout leader in Bensalem, an assistant coach with the Bensalem Ramblers, and involved with local politics. For relaxation he enjoyed boating.
He was the devoted brother of many sisters and brothers, and loving uncle of many nieces and nephews in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He will especially be missed by his niece, Aria Craig with whom he was very, very close.
Relatives and friends will be received by the family 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Hoffmann Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave, Bensalem, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 p.m. Condolences may be expressed at the Web site listed below. Hoffmann Funeral Home, Bensalem

Carl and I were walking down the hallway on the way to class, one day, when he told me he wanted to be a Funeral Director; not the typical goal of a young man from 15-17 yrs old! I am wondering, now, what early experiences he had which nurtured w/in him his desire to be so personally involved at the intersection of life and death! I am so glad to see that his desire to be involved in the Funeral Industry was fulfilled, but also that he lived a balanced life!
Carl was a really nice guy whom I was blessed to experience for such a short time, and was a blessing to those whom he met along the way, including those whom he coached and those experiencing the sorrowful loss of loved ones! He certainly passed on far too soon, from our perspective!
