Cathy A. Stansfield, 64, of Northumberland, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at her residence. She was born June 16, 1951, in Philadelphia, a daughter of the late Aldo and Thelma (Easterday) Pietropoli. Cathy was last employed as an EMT for the Shamokin Ambulance Service. Prior to that she was employed as a pharmacy technician in Cape May, N.J. and as a nurse’s aide in Clarion. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and loved animals. She looked forward to the annual family vacations to Ocean City, N.J. She is survived by one daughter, Kelli Stansfield, of Northumberland; one brother, Richard Pietropoli, of Fairless Hills; and two sisters, Sandra Pietropoli, of Dacula, Ga., and Mary Simmons, of Seneca. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland. Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt BlankFuneral Home, 309 Water St., Northumberland.
