John Renz

John 'Jack' Renz passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016. He was 64.

Born in Philadelphia and a lifelong resident of Bensalem, Jack was a mechanic for the Bensalem Township School District for 36 years.

A volunteer firefighter as a young man, he loved NASCAR, camping, and go-kart racing with his son. Jack also loved traveling to Virginia Beach, Florida, and the Outer Banks. He was an active member of the local VFW, and enjoyed model railroading, decorating for Christmas, and fireworks.

Jack will be deeply missed by his devoted son, Joseph M. Renz (Reenie); his stepdaughter, Christine Biemuller (John); and his siblings, Nancy Robbins, Peggy Hane (Bill), Joe Renz and Mike Renz (Donna). Jack is also survived by his grandchildren, Joseph Francis Renz (who will be welcoming a baby sister or brother in the spring), Brianna and Caroline.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial from 1 p.m. until the service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem PA 19020. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donating in Jack's name to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org), whose goal is building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular disease.Tomlinson Funeral Home, Bensalem

Carolynn Bole (Scott) (1970)

I worked with you for 22 years, and loved hearing you talk about spending time with your son.
You helped me with my bus on more than one occasion, a truly nice guy. You will be missed.
