It was very sad to see that Rexy had passed away. I met Rexy's family when I was about 11 years old. I worked as a cart boy at the Food Check on Street Road. Rexy's dad, Uncle Bull ( what I called him back then) would hang outside with me smoking, while I pushed baskets, as Aunt E would grocery shop. We would talk about everything from motorcycles, to his three boys, George, Billy and my Buddy Rexy.. I got to know about the family through Bull. When I moved back home with my family at 13, Uncle Bull lived at the same apt. complex that we lived in. I was even his paper boy, often eating dinner at their house. Uncle Bull, would sometimes take me along to hang out with him and his buddies, at the "Club". I even aquired Rexy's 1963 blue Pontiac as my first car, but I blew it up in about two weeks, racing around the back roads of the Byberry work farm. I was close to Rexy and his first wife Barb, until I was about 18, but lost track of everyone, when I moved away from Bensalem. I always remembered Rexy's birthday, because I have played that number date (421) forever. Again, it was like the air was taken out of me, when I found out that he was gone. My sympathy to his family for the loss of their loved one.
