Janice H. Vengels, a resident of Croydon, formerly of Andalusia, passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015. She was 63.

She was the beloved wife of Art Vengels.

Born in Philadelphia, Janice was a daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn Ray.

Janice always loved having pet cats, and enjoyed pampering them. She loved taking trips exploring sights the Pennsylvania countryside had to offer with her close friends.

Janice loved her job years as a machine operator on the wrapping line at Bakerite Rolls of Pa., where she was employed for more than 31 years.

In addition to her husband, Janice is survived by three children, Edwin Torres, Angelo Torres (Jana) and Bonnie Aiello (James); three grandchildren, Gavin, Courtney and Alesandra; brother, Robert Ray; and sister, Mary Stilo. She was preceded in death by brothers, Michael and Thomas Ray.

Relatives and friends are invited to Janice's life celebration from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, at John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Road, Philadelphia, where her memorial service will be at 7 p.m.
