Pam DeForest, 62, passed away peacefully on December 10th, surrounded by family after an 18 year battle with brain cancer. Pam was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania and grew up in Bensalem, PA. She had a long, successful career as a banker and then an office manager. She eventually owned and operated her own small business, A Royal Flush, for over 12 years. Pam loved gardening, boating, and most of all the joys and traditions of Christmas. She was a loving mother, wife and devoted member of Bethany Lutheran Church for many years.

Pam is survived by her father Joseph V. Fiorentino Jr.; husband Ken, their two daughters Alyssa and Shannon; brother Rich, sister-in-law Wendy, niece Amanda and her spouse Christian; and Ken's three children and their spouses Kenny and Kim DeForest, Kimberly and Joe DePaola and Jackie and Travis Ebeling as well as their four children Ophelia, Jack, Lilah, and Violet.

Celebration of Life services will be held the morning of January 8th at Bethany Lutheran Church (617 Morgan Ave, Palmyra, NJ 08065). Visitation will take place 10am-11am, services from 11am-12pm, and internment at 12:15pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Neurology Departments of Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia or Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville would be appreciated.

Pam an.d I were friends since 6th grade when we were 12.  I considered her my best friend for almosr 50 years.  I am godmoher to her firsrborn Alyssa Rose DeForest who now lives in San Francisco.  It's been almost 2 years now and I still find it hard to believe she is gone.  We were very different and complimented each other in many ways.  She was very black and white, it was either right or wrong, no gray areas for Pam.  Now me, I live in the gray.  If I needed clarity about an issue, Pam was my goto.  If I needed to organize something, Pam was my goto.  If I needed to get creative, Pam was my goto..  She had lots of energy, running circles around me constranrtly.  In her business she was a good negotiator and as fair as the day is long.  I went on many a business trip with her and she knew her stuff.  She was a proud buiness owner and I was proud of her.  Pam owned a portable toilet business and that field does not lend itself to women.  Clearly male dominiated and Pam held her own and enjoyed success.  She had the best sense of humor and was allways ready to laugh at herself and the situation.

We grew up together, children at 12 to grown women in our 60s.  I loved her like a sister and miss her dearly every. single. day.  RIP Pamela Anne.  I'll see you on down the road.
