Annette M. (Bubbles) Dalessandro (Compton)

Annette M. 'Bubbles' Dalessandro Compton, went to the lord Friday, Aug. 18, 2017. She was 54.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Eddington 'Bensalem' to Ann and the late Silvino Dalessandro Sr. Annette was a star athlete both at Bensalem High School Class of 1981 and Eastern College, Class of 1985. She had a great sense of humor along with a strong sense of faith, and was a very active member of the Langhorne Presbyterian Church. Above all, Annette loved her children; they were her most prized possessions.

Annette is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen M. Compton, and her cherished children, Alexis, Stephen T., and Mackensie. She also is survived by her loving mother, Ann Dalessandro; and her siblings, Tony Dalessandro (Lynn), Andy Dalessandro (Vicky), and Silvino 'Sookie' Dalessandro Jr.; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to Annette's Life Celebration from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, followed by her 11 a.m. memorial service at the Langhorne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Gillam Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047.

Among the worst advice I ever gave a student was to not use in her seventh grade yearbook a nickname she preferred to go by. Annette “Bubbles” Delasandro Compton was a very special athlete/student from an equally special Bensalem family. As I have since meeting her, I will continue to remember her energy every time I see BUBBLES.
