Edward Turner of Oakford, Pa. passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016. He was 87.
Born March 25, 1928 to Albert and Anna Turner, he was the loving husband of Joan (Neumayer) Turner; the dedicated father of Robert (Elyse), Gail Pritz (John), Kenneth (Jenn), and Glenn (Marian); and the devoted grandfather of Kristopher, Jacci, Cody, Cherie, Nicholas, Joseph, Danielle, and Samantha.
He was preceded in death by his dear brother, Robert.
Edward served as a paratrooper in the United States Army during the Occupation of Japan. Following the war, he was a self employed business owner servicing televisions in his early years and owner of M. Schneider and Sons of Philadelphia.
He dedicated years serving as the committee representative and chairman of Bensalem Water and Sewer Authority for Bensalem Township.
Edward lived his entire life in the same house he was born in.
Relatives and friends are invited to Edward's Life Celebration from 9 a.m. until a prayer service at 10 a.m., Monday, at Dunn-Givnish Life Celebration Home, 378 S. Bellevue Ave., Langhorne, PA 19047. Interment will be in Rosedale Memorial Park.
