Bucks Co. - Shirley E. Lawton, 91, a lifelong Bucks Co. resident died on September 21,2021 at Holland Village, Holland, Pa.

Shirley was an active roller-skater, which is where she met her husband, Walter, the Love of Her life. She enjoyed Bowling and spending time with her lifelong best friend, Grace Kovitch. Shirley and Walt traveled extensively throughout the years, seeing 49 States and Europe. She loved Jesus and liked to share her faith.

Shirley is the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth McSherry Leyden and wife of the late Walter Lawton, Sr. and the loving mother of Sharon Ceniglio, Wendy Terrill (Bud), Sandy Keller (Tim) and Walter Lawton, Jr. (Paula). She is the proud grandmother of Justin (Mandy), and James Keller, Tara Gunser (David), and Courtney and Jared Wilson and the great grandmother of 3. Shirley is also survived by her brother, Donald Leyden, along with several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to Shirley's Life Celebration on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 10 to 11 AM and to her funeral service at 11 AM at the Swartz Givnish Funeral Home, 323 Washington Ave, Newtown, PA. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
