March 8, 1933 - June 20, 2023

Doris A. Brucks of Andalusia, passed away at Wesley Enhanced Living in Doylestown on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. She was 90.

Doris was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Brucks. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Savard Junghanns, the mother of the late Bernard Brucks Jr., and sister of the late William Junghanns.

Doris was born and raised in Andalusia before moving to Doylestown.

In her early years Doris worked as a secretary for Kaiser Company in Bensalem and during World War II she entertained the troops playing the saxophone and tap-dancing.  Doris was an accomplished artist who would paint in water, oil, and pastels. Additionally, she was a member of the Bucks County Artist Association. Doris will be sorely missed by all who came to know her. 

Doris is survived by her dearest son Glenn Brucks and his wife Debbie of Penndel, her daughter Judy Brugger and her husband James of Glenside, and her daughter-in-law, Karen Clopp of Bensalem.   She is also survived by her 5 cherished grandchildren Amy, Bernadette, Sarah, Andrew, and Matthew, and her 5 great-grandchildren Daniel, Liam, Bryan, Shaine, and Eli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation and Funeral on Saturday, June 24, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fluehr Funeral Home, 864 Bristol Pike (Rt. 13), Bensalem PA 19020. Funeral Service is at 12:00 PM.

Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery, 2026 Bensalem Blvd, Bensalem, PA 19020.
