Elizabeth Hannah Hewitt
Huntingdon Valley - Elizabeth Hannah Hewitt, "Betty", age 90, June 22, 2021 of Huntingdon Valley, PA. Daughter of Robert H. & Mary Hewitt. Home economics teacher in the Lower Moreland School District. Betty enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things. She especially enjoyed many trips "over the pond" to see her relatives in N. Ireland. Betty had a heart for missions and enthusiastically supported those doing God's Work. Betty was extremely fond of her cats. She loved to grow all types of plants in her garden, especially butterfly bushes. Although Betty had no children, she treated her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Betty is survived by her sister-in-law Jeanette Hewitt. Two nephews Brent (Wendy) Hewitt, Barry (Michele) Hewitt and their families. She is also survived by Pastor Joseph Darrow, (husband of her late niece Laurelei Darrow) and their family. Also her beloved relatives of County Armagh, Northern, Ireland. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service Friday evening July 2nd, 7:00 PM at Huntingdon Valley Presbyterian Church 2364 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 where friends may call from 6:00 PM until the service time.
