Barbara A. Guld

July 12, 1949 - March 6, 2022

Barbara A. Guld, formally of Bensalem PA, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the Immaculate Mary Home in Philadelphia PA, she was 72.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Schad Guld. Sister of the late Michael P. Guld (late Marie).

Barbara was a longtime resident of Andalusia and worked for over 30 years before moving to Immaculate Mary Home in 2016. She was a graduate of Holy Family University where she completed her undergrad studies and received her bachelor’s degree in history and continued her studies where she received her master’s degree in history, also from Holy Family University. In addition, Barbara received her paralegal degree from the Paralegal Institute of Philadelphia and also earned 60 college credits towards her educational degree. Barbara was an educator with the Bensalem School District with over 25 years of dedicated service until her retirement specializing in the history curriculum. In her leisure time, she was an avid traveler and enjoyed visiting Europe and various states throughout our county. Barbara was always dedicated and focused on all of her endeavors and was a lover of animals, especially her cats. She was a communicant of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Bensalem.

Barbara is survived by her brothers and sisters, Joseph A Guld and his wife Alice of Philadelphia, David C Guld and his wife Alice of Fairless Hills PA, Elizabeth C. Gannon (Jack Gannon) of Bensalem, Leo T. Guld of Andalusia, Catherine E. Niszczak of Andalusia and Gerard C. Guld, of Andalusia. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to call Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 10:30 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1731 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem PA 19020.

Barbara’s interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, 1215 Super Highway, Langhorne PA 19047.
