Otto Grupp, III

Otto Grupp III was welcomed into God's arms Saturday February 3, 2024. Otto was 94. Born in Croydon PA, he was a longtime resident of Langhorne Manor, PA. Otto was the son of the late Otto Jr and Lillian Grupp and was the loving husband of Jean H Grupp (deceased) for 58 years.
Otto was a graduate of Bensalem High School and Pennsylvania State University. He was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Upon graduation he joined the Air Force, stationed in Presque Isle, ME. After his Honorable Discharge he had a distinguished career in the Insurance field starting with the firm Johnson, Grupp, Kendall and Johnson in Bristol. He spent many years with Aetna Life Insurance retiring as the General Manager of the Tri State area. He then went on to purchase several private Insurance agencies.
Otto was a long-time member of St James Episcopal Church in Langhorne, Pa.
Otto was a member of the Bristol Rotary Club, a Board Member of the Bucks County Community College and the YMCA of Bucks County.
Otto and Jean vacationed at their homes in Avalon, NJ and Titusville, Florida. In between they hit the road in their motorhome traveling from Florida to Alaska.
Otto is survived his by devoted children, Pamela J. Breuninger (Walt), Linda E. Sandy (Bobby), Robert W. Grupp and Theodore H. Grupp. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Walt Breuninger (Rebecca), Krista Smith (Jordann), Matthew Sandy (Laura), Theodore O. Grupp, Kathryn Rice (Porter), Alyssa O'Brien (Mike), Kyle Grupp (Casey), Nikolas Grupp (Alyssa), Kaila Flack (Drew), Jenna Domico(Ricky), Trey Grupp and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the devoted staff of Pickering Manor for the excellent care he received as his health declined.
Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Otto’s memory can be made to either the St. James Episcopal Church, 330 S Bellevue Ave, Langhorne, PA 19047, or the Bristol Rotary Club, 1320 Newport Road, Bristol, PA 19007.
