Obituary

Albert F. Geiges Sr., age 89 of the Eddington section of Bensalem passed away January 5, 2022 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. Born in his home in Andalusia, Pa., and a lifelong resident of Bensalem. Al was a graduate of Bensalem High School, Class of 1950. He was an owner and operator of Treen Box and Pallet Corp. with his brother George and retired after 40 years of service. Al was a member of the Bensalem Rotary Club, the NRA, and Ducks Unlimited. Al truly loved the outdoors. He spent many summers in Waretown, NJ enjoying fishing and golf with good friends. He especially liked to play pool and fish from his house and boat in Key Colony Beach (Florida Keys). He was also an avid trap shooter and big game hunter for deer, bear, elk and moose from the Rockies in Alberta Canada to Argentina in South America. As technology ramped up he stayed current and sharp working in his Garage Mahal at his home base in Bensalem, 3D printing gifts for friends as well as functional objects for the house. He also dove right into the drone era. Some of that was a literal dive, so he 3D printed drone parts too! Al was preceded in death by his siblings, George Geiges, Elmer Geiges and Jane Clauser. He will be sadly missed by his sons, Albert F. Geiges Jr. (Burt), Steven W. Geiges (Steve), grandchild, Steven Geiges and his girlfriend Anita Lamb along with the many dear friends he collected on his path through a long full life.
He chose to keep his funeral service and interment private.
