After college Joe moved to Los Angeles, California for several years to work in the music industry where he was able to meet some of his music icons and formed lifelong friendships and memories. Joe returned to Bensalem, Pennsylvania where he met Helen, his wife of nearly 35 years while he was working for a mechanical contractor during the day and pursuing his love of music by playing out in bands at night and weekends.
