Karen Ann Fischer

February 6, 1960 - August 22, 2022

Karen Ann Fischer, 62, died early Monday morning August 22, 2022 at home surrounded by family with her husband, Conrad C. Hynd and beloved cat, Topaz, at her bedside.

Karen and Conrad met in 1978 studying Fine Art at BCCC and have been together ever since.  They celebrated an official wedding in 2014 at the home of Ann and David Shenkle. 

Born in Paterson, NJ and later living in Bensalem, PA,  Karen was the youngest child of Mary (Delgado) and Ferdinand Fischer and survived by siblings Ferdinand and Evelyn and sisters-in-law Mary Lane, Victoria Ostrander and Janet Basta and many neices, nephews and grand-neices and nephews. 

Karen was a green-thumb gardener, raising orchids and plumeria; loved creating jewelry and collecting gemstones and beads; an avid reader especially of SciFi and Harry Potter.

The family wishes to thank VITAS Hospice; especially her nurse, Trish, for their compassion and care.  Services were private.
