Richard J. Kirby

Richard Joseph Kirby, of Bensalem, passed away on December 23rd. He was 61 years old. Richard worked as a Records Specialist with the I.R.S for over 10 years. In his free time, he was a Referee with the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) for over 40 years. He also was actively involved as a coach and official at the youth, high school, adult and collegiate level. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Richard Joseph Sr. and will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Tania (nee Kuhn), his children, Amanda Kirby and Michael Kirby, his mother, Rose Marie Kirby, his siblings, Mark Kirby, John P. Kirby (Christine), Robert Kirby (Wendy), Donna Kirby, Christine Kirby-Brink (Chris), and Joseph Kirby (Jan) as well as his twelve nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Tuesday, January 2nd from 6:00-8:00 PM. There will be a second Viewing at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Wednesday, January 3rd from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by his Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
