John J. Paczynski - Class Of 1956

John J. Paczynski

PACZYNSKI, John Joseph of Bowdon, GA, formerly of Seminole, passed away Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, he was 75. Mr. Paczynski was born in Bristol, PA, on May 4, 1938 to the late Walter and Anna Dutkiewicz Paczynski. He was an owner and operator of Jo-Mark Construction Company and a veteran of the U.S Navy. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park. He was a part of the Shriner International, Scottish Rite, Mason Northside Lodge 283, F.O.E Eagles- Past President Aerie 4250 and 812, American Legion- Post 273, Elks Lodge 2217, U.S.S Essex Association, Am Vets Post 8 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9220. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter Paczynski; and his grandson, John J. Paczynski III. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Shirley Finsel Paczynski; his sons, John Joseph Paczynski Jr. (wife Kimberley) of Clearwater, Mark Paczynski (wife Terri) of Peoria, AZ; his daughters, Susan McGonegal and (husband Timothy) of Bradenton, Kathy Jenkins (husband Gordon) of Bowdon, GA; his sisters, Eleanor Killion of Croydon, PA, Pauline Brusko of Largo, and Mary Ann Moody of Zephyrhills. Interment will be held on Friday, Sept. 27th, 9:15 am, at Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, with Military Honors. Funeral Mass for Mr. Paczynski will be held on Friday, Sept. 27th, at 12 pm, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Cure PSP at (www. psp. org) or Agape Hospice at 605 Dixie St., Carrollton, GA 30117.
