Bernard T. Brucks Jr. passed away suddenly Friday, March 23, 2018. He was 62. Bernard was a lifelong resident of Bensalem. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and camping. Bernard loved to travel and always looked forward to trips to the shore and the mountains. He especially loved history and was quite the expert on the history of his hometown, Bensalem. Bernard was very proud of his work as an EKG Tech and always looked forward to caring for his patients. He had a good soul and was devoted to those he knew and loved. Bernard will be deeply missed by his love of 25 years, Karen M. Clopp; and his devoted children, Amy Brucks Ahleman (Bob), Bernadette Brucks, and Andrew Brucks. Bernard is also survived by his loving mother, Doris Brucks; siblings, Glenn Brucks (Debbie) and Judy Brugger (Jim); and his grandchildren, Shaine, Eli, Tori, and Devin. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard T. Brucks Sr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service from 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike Bensalem, PA 19020. Service will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations in Bernard’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org/donate.
