Sandra Kay (Scheer) Walters of Hershey, Pa., passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at her home surrounded by family after a six-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. Sandra was a 1976 graduate of Bensalem High School, and Messiah College in 1980, where she met her husband of 38 years, Kevin Walters. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert W. Scheer. She is survived by her mother, Alice Scheer; her sister, Kimberly Effing (William); a niece; three nephews; and her two beloved puppies. She was a member of Bethany Church of the Nazarene, 1605 Parkway West, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Cooking was Sandie’s favorite hobby. She made many special treats for her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, at the above named church. A light lunch will follow. Casual dress is requested.
