Obituary

Scott Robert Hansbury, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 28 2024 in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. He was born on December 8, 1959, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Janet (Kendrick) and the late Robert Hansbury.

Scott was a graduate of West Virginia University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Throughout his career, Scott pursued various endeavors, working as an accountant, baker, and tile layer.

Outside of his professional life, Scott found immense joy in his hobbies. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and contentment along the shores of Dividing Creek, New Jersey, where he cherished moments spent in his beloved house. He also enjoyed hiking, listening to music, and surrounding himself with loved ones.

Scott will be deeply missed by his mother, Janet, his siblings Chris (Colleen), Jill (Joe), Cliff, Doug (Lisa),Jessie (Ken), and Libby (John) as well as his 11 nieces and nephews, and 4 great-nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to friends and the community for their generous donations and support during Scott's final years of life.

In honor of Scott's memory, a celebration of his life will be held at further notice.

Scott's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

May he rest in peace.

Annette T. Hammond (Pacheco) (1977)

Very sorry to learn of Scott's passing so young in life.  The Hansbury family were great neighbors (just up around the corner) and classmates during our time in Bensalem.  Condolences to his family.
