Walter L. "Chip" Adams III

Walter L. "Chip" Adams III of Bensalem passed away suddenly Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at the Brighten at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation. He was 48.

Born in Key West, Fla., Chip grew up in Bensalem. He was a 1980 graduate of Bensalem High School and attended Bucks County Community College. He worked in management at Pizza Hut and McDonald's over the years.

Chip is survived by his father, Walter L. Adams Jr. and his wife, Mary Jo, of Penndel; his mother, Diane Zilinski and her husband, George Hiemenz, of Bensalem; a brother, Wayne L. Adams of Bangor, Pa; two sisters, Dana L. (Adams) DeStefano of Bensalem and Kathryn (Adams) House of Cortland, N.Y.; and a stepsister, Rebecca (Adams) Kurtz of Levittown. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Mildred (Zilinski) Frick; Aunt Chris (Zilinski) Van Horn; Uncle Stanley Zilinski; Aunt Pat (Adams) Barets; Aunt Gloria-Jean (Adams) Doran; Uncle Dennis Adams and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at New Life Christian Church, 4 Freedom Drive, Newtown. Interment will be held privately. Family and friends are invited to the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of service.
