Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Silvino Benjamin “Sookie” Dalessandro Jr., who peacefully left this world on March 22, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on March 13, 1971, in Bristol, PA, Silvino was a proud member of the Eddington Fire Company, a talented master painter by profession, and a devoted family man.

Silvino's love for life was evident in his passions. He enjoyed playing ice hockey, cheering on his beloved Philly sports teams, and spending leisurely hours playing golf. His warm smile and caring nature endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication, survived by his cherished daughter Brianna Jones, his companion, Michelle Jones, his loving mother Ann Dalessandro, his brothers Anthony (Lynn) and Andrew Dalessandro (Victoria), his brother in law, Steve Compton and numerous relatives and friends. Silvino was preceded in death by his father, Silvino and his sister, Annette Compton (Steve). His memory will forever be treasured by those whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Silvino’s Visitation at the Cornwells United Methodist Church, 2284 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 on Saturday, March 30 from 9:00-11:00 AM followed by his Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, or to the charity of your choice.

Through his kind spirit and genuine presence, Silvino made this world a better place. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and fond memories he brought to so many.
