RALPH P. BARCLAY JR.

RALPH P. BARCLAY JR., 62, of Haddonfield, died Sunday at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden. 

Mr. Barclay was music director at Cherry Hill High School West for more than 23 years, and conducted the school choir. He also taught music at the Bensalem Music Junior School in Bensalem, Pa. He was a member of the Music Educators National Conference. 

Before teaching music, Mr. Barclay worked as a carpenter's helper for Badenhausen Boiler Factory, and served 21 months in the army. After retiring as music director, he taught driving at the Dual Control Driving School. 

He was a Haddonfield resident since 1958, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Haddonfield for more than 30 years. He was a 1953 graduate of Temple University. 

Survivors: his wife, Eleanor Pennypacker Barclay; a son, Ralph P. of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Eleanor P. Barclay of Haddonfield and Susan L. Onofrio of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; four grandchildren, and two sisters, Edna Barth of Bensalem, Pa. and Jane Jaehn of National City, Calif. 

Services: viewing, 10 a.m. tomorrow, First Presbyterian Church, 20 E. Kings Highway, Haddonfield; memorial service, 11 a.m. tomorrow at the church; burial, private. Stretch, Evans, & Kain Funeral Home, Haddonfield.
