James F. Crossland

James F. Crossland, 74, of 2738 Greenleaf St., Allentown, and North Beach Haven, N.J., formerly of Langhorne, Bucks County, died Saturday, Nov. 18 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Lois (Swain) Crossland.

He was a music teacher and school administrator in various school districts for 30 years. He was a musician and played trumpet in performing groups including the Crescent Temple Shrine Band, Trenton, N.J., and was a member of various masonic and shrine organizations including the Jesters.

Born in Uniontown, Fayette County, he was a son of the late Charles and Ruth (Glover) Crossland.

He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Survivors: Wife; sons, James G. of Langhorne and Eugene C. of Allentown; daughter, Laura L. of Allentown; sister, Charlotte Ghion of Addison, Somerset County; three granddaughters.

Memorial services: Private. Arrangements, Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg.
