With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dolores H. (Goodwin) Dessalet, affectionately known as Lori on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on January 26, 1933, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Agnes (Gentner) and Walter Goodwin and was a longtime resident of Bensalem.

A dedicated school aide at the Bensalem School District, Lori was passionate about education and touched the lives of many children. She was also a fiercely loyal fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles and Penn State, proudly cheering for her teams through every season.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas J. Dessalet, Jr. Lori was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who poured her love into every moment spent with her family. Survived by her son Thomas Dessalet III (Diane), daughter Kathy Dessalet-McGuire, son Michael Dessalet (Florence), and her cherished grandchildren: Melissa Bertolet (John), Thomas Dessalet IV (Jessica), Jason Dessalet, and Nicholas Dessalet, she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through them. Lori's great-grandchildren, Jack, Noah, Harrison, Sydney, and Henry, brought her endless joy and were always ready for a game of UNO or to share her favorite chocolates.

Lori was also preceded in death by her siblings: Florence Arbeiter, Agnes Leckner, Jean Douglass, Walter Goodwin and Joan Adaire.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday September 5, 2025 from 4 to 5 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 5 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to either the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
