Obituary of Patricia Marie Schramm
Patricia Marie "Patti" Schramm (née Marshall), age 91, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Born on June 26, 1934, in Pleasantville, New Jersey, Patti lived a vibrant and fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many. Patti's early years were spent in Pleasantville, where she attended Catholic elementary school. She graduated from Bensalem High School in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, and later pursued further education by attending classes at Cumberland County College in Vineland, New Jersey. Early on, her adventurous spirit led her to a career as an airline stewardess. She moved to Vineland, New Jersey and began a career as a dance instructor for Fred Astaire Studios. Patti married local bandleader Frankie Testa and together had five children whom she was actively engaged in each of their activities and their school's PTA organizations. She worked for many years as the bookkeeper for several businesses. Patti later married her husband Jack Schramm and relocated to Schaumburg, Illinois where she worked for Noble Arnold and Associates as CFO. Patti and Jack built a beautiful life together before retiring to Ft. Pierce, Florida. Patti was known for her friendly and sweet nature. She had an easygoing demeanor that made her beloved by all who knew her. Her positivity was infectious, and she brought joy to every gathering with her love of dancing and music. Patti and her three sisters shared a special bond and cherished time spent together during their many "sister's weekends." She also enjoyed the company of family and friends at her yearly beach excursions in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. A woman of many interests, Patti loved skiing, dancing, going on cruises, playing bingo and mahjong, and trying her luck at the slot machines. Her love for animals was evident throughout her life, especially in the bond she shared with her little rescue dog Mindy. Patti's warmth extended to everyone around her—family members recall fondly how she lit up every room she entered.
After the death of her beloved husband Jack, Patti moved to Deerfield Beach, Florida to be closer to her son Michael. She resided the last five years at Coastal Pointe Senior Living, and we are thankful for the care and love shown to her by the staff. Patti is survived by her children: Steve (Jane) Testa, Patti (James) Frost, Kathi Epifanio (Gino Lanzi), Nicholas (Patricia) Testa, and Michael Testa (Gerald Luongo); stepchildren Jack (Jennifer) Schramm Jr. and Tina (Jeffrey) Burzinski; grandchildren Stephen (Jana) Testa,
Daniel Testa, Cyndi Widjescog, Timothy Corwonski, Joseph Corwonski, Katelyn Corwonski, James (Candy) Corwonski, Paige Testa, Trevor Testa, Christina Claxton, Amanda Summer (fiancée Teddy Brennan), Anthony Claxton (fiancée Becca Yarmouth), Jason (Jennifer) Schramm, Joshua (Melanie) Schramm, Rebecca (Joshua) Locks, Brittany Burzinski, and Jeffrey (Nicole) Burzinski; 19 great-grandchildren; her sister Barbara Stackhouse; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever cherish their memories of her. She was predeceased by her husbands Frank J. Testa and John (Jack) Schramm; parents Harry and Frances Marshall; her sisters Joan Guerra and Carol DiCesare; and her grandson Christopher Corwonski. Patti’s legacy is one of love, laughter, and kindness—a life well-lived that will continue to inspire those who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing. Interment will be private. A memorial mass will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to dogsandcatsforever.com in Fort Pierce, Florida.
