Mildred Kinsley McDowell, a cherished member of the Campbell County community, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024, at the age of 88. Born in New Jersey, on April 12, 1935, to Agnes Mae Soloman Kinsley and Ralph Kinsley, Mildred lived a life full of love, adventure, and creativity.

Mildred was the beloved wife of the late Wilmer "Mac" McDowell, with whom she shared countless memories and travels that brought joy and enrichment to their lives. Together, they explored the country, capturing moments and experiences that remained dear to Mildred's heart.

An avid bird watcher, Mildred found solace and delight in the simplicity of nature. She was an accomplished seamstress, crafting beautiful pieces that showcased her skill and passion for sewing. Mildred also enjoyed bowling, a hobby that brought her laughter and camaraderie. Above all, she cherished the moments spent reminiscing about the adventures she and Mac embarked upon, each story a testament to their love and the life they built together.

Mildred was predeceased by her mother, Agnes Mae Soloman Kinsley, her father, Ralph Kinsley, and her sister, Pauline R. Gallagher. Her spirit and legacy will live on through the memories of those who knew and loved her.

Mildred Kinsley McDowell will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her warmth, her love for life, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
