Janet T. Hughes Obituary

Janet T. Hughes, of Southampton, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Janet was 88. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Esther nee Taylor and William Moore. Janet is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Peter F. Hughes and son-in-law, Marc Ullman. She is survived by her children; Jennifer Ullman, Anne Megen Lavoie (Michael), and Kathleen Hughes; grandchildren; Alexandra, Abigail, Madeline, and Henry.

Janet is remembered for years of dedicated volunteer work in her local community, ranging from the Junior Women's Club, Southampton Band, Warminster Symphony, St. Francis Food Bank, to PTA mom at her children's school.

Janet's most cherished roles were that of devoted and loving wife, mother, and "Nanny". Nothing brought her more joy then spending time with her family.

Janet’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Avenue, Southampton, PA 18966. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30a.m. Janet will be laid to rest with her husband Pete at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.
