Patricia Schurr Obituary
Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 12, 2024.
Patricia Jane Schurr (nee Keller), born on March 13, 1937, in Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2024, in Voorhees, New Jersey, at the age of 86.
With a life marked by her artistic talent and an unwavering commitment to her family, Patricia was the epitome of a strong and loving matriarch. Her hands, which once lovingly molded ceramics in her own shop and carefully selected pieces for her antique store, were also the hands that held her family together with grace and strength. Patricia's love for quilting was another facet of her artistic expression, creating warmth not only in her crafts but also in her home.
As a dedicated homemaker, Patricia's greatest pride was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her six children: Frederick Schurr (Adele), Harry Schurr (Sandra), Thomas Schurr (Jane), James Schurr, Susan Maiorano, and Michael Schurr (Susan); her twelve grandchildren; and her thirteen great-grandchildren, all of whom are a testament to her nurturing love.
Patricia was reunited in death with her high school sweetheart, and beloved husband of 54 years, Harry F Schurr, and she is predeceased by her father Frederick Keller, her mother Elizabeth Keller, and her sister Bonita Keller. The legacy of her love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
A private memorial service will be held to honor the life and memory of Patricia Jane Schurr. It is in the reflection of her well-lived life that her family and friends will find comfort and inspiration. May she rest in the peace she so richly deserves, and may her memory be a beacon of love and resilience for all who were touched by her presence.
