It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Nancy Claire Heaney-Miller (nee Geist), on Saturday, April 4 at the age of 88, surrounded by her loving family. She lived at Ann’s Choice Community, Warminster, PA and previously at Upper Makefield Township, Newtown, PA.
Born on February 25, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA. Beloved daughter of the late Charles & Dorothy Geist of Trevose, PA. Sister to Lois & the late Tom Franco of Manasses, VA and Marybeth & the late Elmer States of Feasterville, PA. She was the cherished and loving wife of Albert B.Miller, Sr., married for 35 years and devoted mother to Don Heaney, Linda Heaney Hilferty, Scott Heaney (Renee), David Heaney (Judy), Albert B. Miller, Jr.(Gwen), Deborah Miller-Harcar (John) & John Miller (Mary).
Nancy was a proud and loving grandmother of 16 grandchildren, and 33 great grandchildren. Jennifer (husband John & children Patrick, Cullen, Sean); Angela (husband Nathan, & children, Daniella, Lucas, John, Clara); Erin (husband Dean & daughter Riley Rose); Benjamin (fiancé Corinne); Chelsea (husband Garrett & children Campbell and Sutton); Courtney (husband Alex & children Ada and Brody); Catelyn (husband; Caleb); Shannon (husband Lou & children Maixa, Tristan, Scarlet); Trista (husband Marlin & children Tayah, and Marlin, Jr.); Jamie (husband Michael & children Rosalia, Lily and Bella); Dianne (husband Michael & children Jonah, Jacob, Alanna); Daniel Heaney; Matthew Miller (wife Tina & children Matthew Jr., Bradley, Anthony, William, & Joseph); Brandon Miller (wife Valerie & children Ella, Hallie, & Lucas); Zac Harcar, Taylor Harcar-Helton (husband Trey & children Trenton & Emersyn; Hannah Miller. Nancy was also a dear aunt to her numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Nancy loved to cook, bake, and sew. She was full of life, and always happily smiling. She loved to crochet and made afghans for all of her family members, which we will truly cherish. After retirement, Nancy and Albert traveled the world. She belonged to Neshaminy Chapter of Eastern Star #374 and was a past matron. Nancy grew up in (Olney) Philadelphia before moving to Trevose. Nancy was executive secretary to the assistant superintendent of Neshaminy School District. Nancy belonged to the “Cherry Street secretaries group” from Neshaminy School District. Nancy belonged to the Addisville Church of Richboro, and was a former member of Penns Park United Methodist Church. Nancy loved to watch the “Phillies” and the “Philadelphia Eagles.”
She will be remembered for her warm heart, generosity, loving spirit, personality and her smiling face. Services for Nancy will be held at Addisville Church, 945 Second Street Pike Richboro, PA 18954 on Friday, April 17, 2026.
Visitation will be held at church from 9:30am to 10:30am. The Eastern Star will conduct a dignified ritual at 10:30AM. A Funeral Service to honor Nancy’s life will follow at 11:00AM.
