Barbara Lee Tull (Moyer) passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026 at the age of 84.

Barbara’s friends described her presence as filling their hearts with joy and music and she brought that spirit to her service as Church Organist for 65 years. She served for 28 years as Organist, Choir Director and Music Director at Doylestown United Methodist Church in Doylestown, PA, and previously served at Carversville United Church of Christ as Organist and Choir Director. She was a loyal employee at Doylestown Hospital for 46 years as a Medical Billing Specialist. She brought her dedication to those roles as well as to her time most recently as a member of the Doylestown United Methodist Church and as a former member of the Bucks County Choral Society.

Barbara most loved spending time with friends and family and brought to those relationships her immense kindness, incredible compassion, and willingness to always lend an ear. Her love of music inspired others to share that passion. She was very proud of the music program she built at Doylestown United Methodist Church, including multiple choral and instrumental ensembles. In discovering that someone played a musical instrument or had musical talent, it wasn’t long before she recruited them into one of the musical groups, finding the perfect spot for their unique skills and talents to add to the beautiful music.

She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sharing recipes with family and friends.

She loved amusement parks and would always go for the first seat when riding with her grandsons.

She appreciated time spent at the Jersey shore and shared many fond memories of trips to Ocean Grove with good friends and concerts at the great auditorium.

She treasured her time traveling, whether it was cruises to Alaska or trips throughout Europe, and she always came back with great stories of good times.

Barbara will be sorely missed and is survived by her children, Jeffrey Tull (Fela), Bonnie Allbritton, Denise Smith (Kevin); her grandsons, Alex (Ashley), Jonathan (Madelene); and her great granddaughters, Megan, Teagan, and Violet. She was preceded in death by son, Mark and grandson, Michael.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barbara’s honor to Doylestown United Methodist Church or a charity of your choosing. Or do some of the things that Barbara loved most and think of her.
