Mrs. Ann Josephine "Digi" Driscoll (née DiGirolamo), a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2026, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She was 101 years old.
Born on January 24, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ann was the daughter of Joseph V. DiGirolamo, Sr. and Theresa Rose DiGirolamo. She grew up in a loving family and graduated from Bensalem High School in 1942. Her life was a testament to hard work, devotion to family, and an unwavering faith.
Ann’s longevity reflected her resilience and steady courage through many hardships. Like her mother before her, she put family first, showing her love through exceptional cooking, baking, sewing, and the meticulous care she gave her home. Shaped by the Great Depression, Ann was resourceful and determined, always making sure her family had what they needed.
Ann is survived by her two sons, James N. Driscoll and Gary R. Driscoll (Susan); brother, Mayor Joseph V. DiGirolamo Jr. (Mary); sister-in-law, Helen DiGirolamo; son-in-law, Dean Matthews (Susie); grandchildren Colleen P. Zachmann (Charlie) and Rory D. Matthews (Kristin); and great-grandchildren Oliver M. Zachmann, Page M. Zachmann, and Micah D. Matthews.
